Lantern Wraith and Pumpkin Boy
Introducing The Lantern Wraith and his Pumpkin Boy, our newest Deluxe Halloween figure!
The Lantern Wraith exists for one thing — Halloween night itself.
Born from the combined fear and laughter of Mischief Night, it rises from the graveyards where the veil grows thinnest, its jack o’ lantern head carved with deep black triangles and a hacksaw grin. Cloaked in a flowing white burial shroud that flutters like smoke, the Wraith drifts silently through streets, fields, and burial grounds, seeking only to frighten.
Its ethereal frame stirs faintly beneath the fabric, and its grin widens with every startled gasp it draws from the living. On Mischief Night, it can sometimes be seen gliding among the graves, preparing for its brief reign of terror when the clock strikes midnight.
When the first crow calls and the horizon turns gray, the Lantern Wraith dissolves into mist. Its laughter lingers a moment longer than it should, echoing faintly through the empty streets before the silence of November settles in.”
Where the Lantern Wraith glides in eerie silence, Pumpkin Boy follows close behind — a small, gleeful spirit born of laughter rather than fear.
Too small to frighten anyone on his own, Pumpkin Boy finds joy in watching the Lantern Wraith at work. With every startled scream and gasp that echoes through the night, his crooked grin seems to widen, and the sound of his quiet giggling drifts through the dark like rustling leaves.
Some say he was once a forgotten trick-or-treater, lost in the swirl between worlds on Mischief Night, and taken in by Lantern Jack’s power to serve as the Wraith’s tiny companion. Others claim he simply grew from the first candy corn dropped on sacred Halloween ground.
Wherever he came from, Pumpkin Boy delights in the mayhem of All Hallows’ Eve — trailing after his fearsome friend, scattering candy corn in his wake, and reveling in every chill that runs down a mortal spine. His hollow pumpkin head bears no flame, only the faint echo of laughter that once filled it.
When the Lantern Wraith dissolves into mist, Pumpkin Boy lingers just long enough to giggle once more — a tiny, mocking sound that fades with the dawn, leaving behind a single piece of candy corn and the faintest scent of autumn smoke.
