The King in Yellow

from $75.00

The King in Yellow

“Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.”

From the pages of Robert W. Chambers comes The King in Yellow, a sculpture inspired by the mysterious monarch of Carcosa, whose presence brings dread, revelation, and ruin.

Draped in decaying yellow robes and crowned by antler-like branches, this figure bears a pale, honeycombed visage while black tentacles emerge from beneath the robe and spread across the base. A strange and ominous form that feels both regal and deeply inhuman.

Each piece is cast in solid resin and individually hand painted.

Fully Painted • $125

Edition of 15

Hand painted in rich yellow, aged bone, brown, and black with weathered detailing throughout, giving the piece the appearance of an ancient and accursed idol.

Gold Metallic • $75

Edition of 10

Finished in metallic gold with dark antiquing to highlight the sculpted details and give the piece the appearance of a relic recovered from some forgotten place.

(Stands 8 inches tall. Base measures 3.75 inches across)

Initial run of 25 pieces
